Woodstock Police Department Hiring Full-Time Patrol Positions

WOODSTOCK — Chief Joe Swanson would like to announce that the Woodstock Police Department is currently seeking applicants for full-time police officer positions.  

The Woodstock Police Department is seeking energetic, service-oriented and highly motivated individuals who are committed to providing quality and professional public-safety services to their community. 

Woodstock Police offers competitive pay and generous benefits including:

Qualified candidates must be at least 19 years old, and currently be certified or certifiable as a Full-Time Police Officer by the Vermont Criminal Justice Council (VCJC).

Applicants who are not currently a full-time police officer in Vermont, or a part-time officer with the Woodstock Police Department, must undergo medical/physical exam, an extensive background investigation, a criminal records check, and a polygraph examination.
